Cooperative Cup Semi Final, Hampden Park - Celtic 4 v 1 Aberdeen - 29/01/11
report & photos from MC
Well, 5.30am and the good bus Blargoan was ready to hit the road. At the wheel, the famous Gig a Lowe, complete wee tins o red bull. Navigating was Deco Campbell, one half o the Kray twins.
Making a welcome return was Charles 'halfie' Swanson and his loon Davy 'Daisy' Swanson. Completing the Halkirk trio Neilly 'blinds' Mackay complete wee his blind catalogue!
Also in tow were the usual suspects made up of Jimmy 'senior cat' Mackay, Willie 'quarter cat' Mackay, Kieran 'the other Kray' Campbell, Michael 'Senior bead rattler' Campbell, Baz 'coop' Mackay, Michael 'shandy' King, Darran 'machine guns' Oag, Finlay 'cider' Ruderford, Zippy 'spermanator' Drummond and Callum 'mattress' Mackay.
Off we set doon the A9 but had to stop in Golspie as Gig a Lowe needed pies and red bull. Then, off we set again, but alas not for long as Michael 'oh my prostate is sore' King was shouting for a piss stop. Alas that was the start, it was 'PISS PLEASE every 6.5 kilometers.
We arrived in Glasgow at 11.30 and headed to the Ivory for light refreshments and a meal which was dam good.
At 2 o'clock we set sail on foot to Hampden and right in till e shaggers who proceeded to hurl bottles and any other thing that came to hand to try and wipe us out but alas they failed. So all i can say to the bottle throwers is 'FECK YOU ALL' and by the way you never spoilt our day.
The game, what can I say, 32 mins game over and time to relax and watch the green brigade entertain the crowd.
4.45 and game over, back to the Ivory but suprise suprise no shaggers in site!
Back aboard the good bus Blargoans and up the A9 but the Shandy and Tattie juice ran dry so Asda in Perth we had to stop and replenish. The stop did not help our Callum as the half man half mattress slept again, either he had too much drink the night before or the more mature Donna is hard on him! As for Zippy, the once main man o the bus who never slept, was lying in the back seat like a 6 month old baby!!! That Leanne and baby KeIRA have had a calming influence!
Willie gaga Mackay made the fatal mistake of phoning his future wifie and declaring his undieing love to her, bad mistake. Wee the rabble on the bus who soon joined in the conversation, least to say no wedding invitations for the bus users!
At the front Gig a Lowe had put on 2 stone wee the amount o pies, custard creams (twin pack), red bull and party rings he consumed.
Machine guns Oag by this time was in full voice with Willie - there wasn't an Irish folk tune that this two don't know!
Meanwhile, the silent assasian Finlay sat and consumed an entire orchard by the weight o the bag that was binned. Big D must have shares in guiness wee the amount he drank did not think one man's bladder could hold so much liquid and blind Mackay fae Halkirk can fair put the tattie juice away. Jimmy Mackay's voice must be gone wee the amount o times he shouted 'WILLIE SIT DOON'!!!
My other good half Linda got a mention from the machine guns who reckons she had her eye on him when he dropped his money off on the Friday night, but Blind man Mackay fae Halkirk told him to watch his tongue cause they are 'cousins' and anyway Linda went to school wee his Mither!!! but maybe he has a fetish for the more mature lady! Well we all know machine guns is a bit of a dreamer.
11.15 and the good bus Blargoans hit god's toon and the bus hit TJ's (so to speak) to let the hardened drinkers off.
If anybody has found a small polo top it belongs to Neilly Mackay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bus parked at Lowes hoose and a taxi was waiting to whisk him to TJ's for copious amounts o drink. Alas, the bar closed too early so the bold lad headed for Skin's wee Dooda for more drink (you would think at 48 he was a bit old for tryin to pull the burds in skins but that would account for him not gettin oot the bed until 5 on Sunday eftrnoon!!!)
A special mention to young Kinger who managed to play at the 7's on Sunday afternoon god bless the loon must take efter his Mither.
So another great day oot and hopefully another good day for the final. So, hail hail till all Caithness Celtic Supporters.
Feel free to join us on our many bus trips, just give one o the bhoys a shout, tickets are always available and you too could get a mention in the paper!!!!
Hail Hail
