Celtic 2 v 1 Hibs, League - 25/09/10
report MC
The Caithness Bhoys hit the road on Saturday to watch the Celtic play Hibs.
The bhoys met at Skins at 0530am, with the Graham 'jiggie' Lowe man behind the wheel. Riding shotgun was Michael 'fenian record player' Campbell who would make a damn good DJ having played the fenian record player 17 times over the course of the day. So if anyone is looking for a bloody good choir for the MOD then the 'Caithness fenians all male choir' are ready.
Gordy 'the cue master' Manson gave up a weekends overtime to watch the tic, pity Reissy & the Malk did not share his passion (greedy pair o fecks lol).
Calum 'ma legs still sore' Mackay, again made the trip, he is becoming a right good diehard.
The Hamster made a welcome return to the bus having hid his postbag in Willie Robbs Locker.
At the back as usual was the trio o Michael 'green moothwash' King, Darren 'the ra and I still love machine guns' Oag and Michael 'wella' Scott.
Down the road to week we travelled to pick up David 'am Darrens boss' Mckiddie, Alec 'e concil joiner' and Willie 'e fermer fae ootside week'.
Doon the A9 we sped to pick up e Centre efter a night oot in Inverness wee a few ither weekers.
We arrived in Glasgow aboot 11.30 efter missin e turning 'efter Evan blethered too much till e driver. I think he had OD on malt and barley'.
Havin till go e tourist way but as we entered Glasgow the roar went up fae the Gord, he wanted off doon e street till he went a got talcenpowdered up, well thats what it smelt like when he came back to e bus.
Up the Gallowgate we made oor way and let the bairns off at bar67 for a wee singalong wee the locals. Darran was roaring when he came back to the bus that it was like the singing kettle his mither had taken him to the week before.
The rest o us made our way to The London Tavern to have a few Shandies and then on to the game with a twa visitors in tow namely Glasgow Chris and 'Pop i love the accountant Oman'.
We wasted 15 quid on the first goalscorer but at least the pie and bovril were good.
Back to the bus efter watching the tic win 2 - 1, should have been more but three points is what we wanted.
Up e road we came at a good pace, still singing the fenian record player.
We stopped in Golspie to pick up supplies and two Americans, one Swiss gentlman plus three locals. We threw them (e gatecrashers) oot a hundred yards later and charged them a tenner, well Lowe did!
A big achievment was reached as Michael King pissed for about 15 minutes while shoutin 'i canna stop honest'.
As we entered Caithness, Evan modelled his new purchase - a big puffa jacket that made him look like Big Daddy.
On arrival in Thurso a night cap was had by one and all but dinna tell that to my beloved Linda who had to get oot the bed at 2 o clock to put the light on and opened the door as yours truely was openin drawers thinking they were door handles whilst shouting for a PISS STOP!
So once again a great day was had and hopefully a few more will be had by the end of the seson.
Hail Hail until the next time.
