Celtic 3 v 1 Kilmarnock, League plus Orkney Doo - 27/03/10
report MC
The Bhoys Malky, Rooker, Big Davey Swanson and the Spittal Tink met at 5 o'clock to head down the A9 till Glasgow toon after a busy day Decommissioning the power plant.
As we headed down the road wee the county's answer to Jenson Button we made great haste to celebrate the last o the Rookers birthday and fair play to the big chill he produced a quality wine that had the bouquet o bleach 'well the look on father Malk's face said it all' but it hit the spot and washed doon wee copious amounts o Lager did not half give you a buzz.
Well we hit Glasgow and booked into the Hotel Del Boy where it was every man for himself regarding sleeping arrangements. After throwing in the bags we took a wee wander down to O'Neill's for a few jars before returning to Hotel Del Boy for a night cap and yarn. 'Del Boy does not half like the clash'.
The Tink was awaken in the morning by what he thought was an earthquake but alas it was the Malk's snoring, feck knows how Audrey handles it. All was forgiven quite quickly when Ron produced some Lagers for Breakfast 'it leaves a strange taste when you wash your mouth out after brushing your teeth' but enough o that pish.
Father Malk then decided that a new outfit and a hair cut was in order to attend the Orkney dinner dance later that night and dually left to attend Slaters for a fitting, and man what a fitting, he returned like a Mafia Don.
The Bhoys then left for the Kilmarnock game at 12ish and were joined by Caithness exiles Eain 'super' Swanson and Trevor 'Jock' Campbell plus the up and coming rebel Shaun Campbell and headed to Hagies where their was live Irish Folk music by the 'Rising' who were excellent. They are in Inverness in May. Give the Rooker a shout he knows when and where.
After the game it was off to the Hotel Del Boy for a sh*te, shave & shampoo then off till Celtic Park for the Orkney Bhoys annual dinner dance where a great night was had by one and all. Music was by Spirit of 67 who were excellent. At two o'clock we were thrown out and were offered a lift aboard the Orkney bus till the city centre but alas the dopey driver took us to the Brazen Head area and parked the bus, so the famous five pished as farts stood at the side o the road in Bandit country hailin a cab back to the Hotel Del Bhoy where a night cap was had by one and all.
Overall an excellent weekend which I hope we can attend next year and take more of the Caithness Bhoys & Ghirls so a good night out in Celtic Park can be had.
A big thank you must go to our host Derek Taylor who always makes the Caithness Bhoys welcome and to Lester from the Orkney Celtic Supporters for inviting us along.
