Another long trip south saw 4 Caithness athletes take part in the Scottish National Agegroup Championships recently at Scotstoun stadium in Glasgow.
Competing in the U17 Womens Discus and Shot Putt, Natasha Morris came away with 2 medals. A throw of 31.65m in the Discus earned her the Silver medal, just behind the UK No 1 from Hull AC, and at the Shot Putt she threw 8.99m, earning her the Bronze medal.

Shannon Eyers competed in the Javelin, and despite a good throw of 28.41m, was just outside the medals in 4th place behind the UK No's 1 & 10.

Emma and Oonagh Dunnett were in action on both days of the competition. Competing for Edinburgh AC, they both ran in the U17 Womens 1500m on Saturday and the 800m on the Sunday.
