There was fierce competition in the annual Wick to Thurso Charity Road Relay as teams strived to raise the most money for two local causes.

The 18.5 mile race from the Wick Co-op to the Park Hotel in Thurso on Sunday, September 25, attracted 10 teams with more than £5600 raised for the Caithness branch of the MS Society Scotland and Thurso High School resource base.

Making a great debut was the Thurso Squash Club members who won with a time of two hours, two minutes and two seconds.

The team consisted of (from photo right, Left to Right) Darren Begg, Jack, Raymond Taylor, Jamie Henderson, Donald Pollard, James Henderson, Ian adamson & Shona Mackay.
