Scottish Schools Track and Field Championships, Grangemouth Stadium, Falkirk - 10&11/06/11

Two CAAC athletes recently took part in the Scottish Schools Track & Field Championships at Grangemouth Stadium in Falkirk.

Taking part in the Javelin in Group B for Thurso High School was Shannon Eyers who won the Silver medal with a new PB of 30.17m.

Unfortunately, Shannon is unavailable to join the Scottish team for the British Schools International Championships in Cardiff next month as she will be away on holiday.

Natasha Morris was in action in Group A at the Shot Putt where she won the Bronze medal with a throw of 9.75m.

Natasha was back in action on the second day of the two day event in the Discus, winning the Gold medal with a throw of 31.86m.
