Scottish Young Athletes League (SYAL) Round 2, Dundee - 15/05/11

Three of CAAC's athletes were involved with the second round of the Scottish Young Athletes League at Caird Park in Dundee recently.

Rhiannon Kirk, Sarah Henderson and Mark O'Brien were selected for the Highland team to compete in the North East Division of the League.

Rhiannon Kirk performed well in the U13G 800m race, running in the B string she came first with a time of 2m47.1s.

Mark O'Brien ran in the U13B 1500m race and came 3rd place in the A string in a time of 5m42.3s.

Sarah Henderson ran in the U17 Womens 800m, 300m and Shot Putt. She earned a 3rd place in the A string of the 800m with a time of 2m36.7s, in the A string of the 300m she came 5th with a time of 47.5s and in the B string of the Shot Putt she came 5th with a throw of 5.22m.
