Caithness Ladies 20 - 49 Dingwall Dolphins

Dynamites' second league match of the season brought them up against seasoned campaigners, Dingwall Dolphins.

We took a while to get into the match and Dingwall were 6-0 up within the first few minutes of the first quarter but after stepping up a notch or two, the first spell ended 9-12.

Dolphins unfortunately proved to have more skills in stages but as Caithness Ladies gain experience we will hope to challenge them more.

Encouragingly, we made far more interceptions and rebounds thanks to our Monday night drill training sessions.

By half time the score was 12-27.

Phillipa Lisle made a great debut as GA and really showed confidence on the court.

One of the refs proved helpful to us in the breaks by giving us tips which we tried our best to take on board.

In the final quarter we made a comeback and won this stage of the match - so all felt quite positive coming off the court.

Great day out and well done to all who played - you were fab!

As one of the players from another team is currently battling breast cancer, today's league matches were showing their support for breast cancer awareness. 'Dynamite' ladies team all dawned bright pink bobbles for the occasion to show our support.
