Turtle Dove does the double... - 18/01/03

Once again, another large turn out emerged on Wick Games Hall to take part in the CBA Restricted Championships.
Marina Finlayson managed to win two of the titles - ladies singles and, ladies doubles with Hilary Geddes but didn't win the trophy that a lot of people had her and her partner, Russell Craigie, down as odds on favourites to lift. This was won a pairing put together at the last minutes, Chris 'Rocky' Sinclair, Wick and Isobel Mackay, Dunnet.
Ian Nicolson played out of his skin and put in a mammoth and excellent performance, even though he is only 2ft 2, to lift the mens singles title. It could've been down to him wearing the Orkney 'A' team top....
The county pairing of Russell Craigie and Martyn Cook out played the rest of the competition to lift the Mens Doubles trophy.
