County Open - Season 2008-2009 - 31/01/09

Mark Mackay swept to the county open badminton singles title without dropping a set.

In the final, he defeated Thurso club colleague Martyn Cook, whom he later partnered to level doubles success.

Mackay then teamed up with Casey Sangster to victory in the mixed versus Carole Mowat and Abdul Mkith.

Mowat and Sangster continued their domination of the level doubles, winning all their games in a round-robin event against the other four pairings.
