Halkirk FC Junior Tournament - 17/08/08
Good day for youngsters

Halkirk FC hosted their Annual Junior tournament on Sunday, August 17 with an abundance of county talent taking part to try and win the much sought after trophies for their teams.

After a long days competition in breezy but dry conditions, the winning silverware was spread throughout the county, in all age groups.

This event was kindly sponsored by Halkirk Highland Games and Tesco with local businesses, Ulbster Arms Hotel, Commercial Hotel and Mackay's Halkirk providing prizes for the raffle.

Thanks also to the local volunteers and referees who made the event run seamlessly and there help is much appreciated.
