Halkirk FC Charity donation - Macmillan Cancer Support - 07/09/10

Halkirk Sports and Recreation Club recently held a raffle in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The raffle was a great success, helped by extremely generous donations from G S Donn, JGC Engineering, The Ulbster Arms Hotel, Caithness Fruits, Precision Blinds, MacKays of Halkirk, and some parents and committee members.

Halkirk Under 7 Junior's continue to show the senior team how to win trophies by beating East End in the final at Thurso.

As the song goes, 'Don't stop them now, they're having such a good time, having a ball...' and beating all teams in most junior tournaments.

Paul Lockhart, ex Halkirk FC supremo, managed his bunch of young Under 7 soldiers to a double winners' trophy in Wick by beating East End on their own patch in the final on penalties.
