Back to winning ways at last as we comfortably progress to the next round of the David Allan Shield.

We were 3-0 up at the break thanks to a double from Del and a fine goal from Gavin Sutherland who was making his debut.

It was evident at half time that the game was over as a contest and this was perhaps reflected in our performance as the level dropped dramatically in the second half.

We only seemed to have our heads on the game in the last ten minutes when we scored another three times with a goal from Gunny, Del completed his hat-trick and also from Blackjock, who marked his first game of the season with a goal from close range when he deflected young Stevie's shot past the keeper to earn the biggest cheer of the night.

The first half was a bit more like it but the second half showing was very poor as we failed to take the opportunity to work on our passing, movement and speaking which will all need to improve if we're to give the Stabs a game in the next round.
