We must've upset the Stabbies with our battling performance on Monday night as they were right up for this game from the start and gave us a fair hammering.

We were hoping to keep things tight for as long as possible but our plans were disrupted early on when they took the lead.

We then struggled to cope with the movement of their attacking players and they were four goals up midway through the first half.

We did get a goal back when MG spilled Mikey's free kick and Kitten reacted quickest to convert the rebound.

We were unable to keep the score at four in the second half to maintain a bit of respectability and they went on to net a further three times and ran out comfortable 7-1 winners.

A disappointing defeat but just one of those times when we have to hold our hands up and accept we were beaten by the better side.

This was always going to be a difficult game and it was made even harder by the unavailability of some players but we kept going and put the work in, which will hopefully stand us in good stead for our final three fixtures.
