Swifts 1 - 1 Halkirk (Halkirk won 4-3 on penalties)

It's back to winning ways for the Wildcat's, although we had to go all the way to penalties to get past the Swifties.

We were pretty sluggish in the first half and fell behind after about 20 minutes.

After getting ourselves back in the game we went on to miss a host of chances, through a combination of good goalkeeping and poor finishing.

We got back on level terms after the break, when Gunny fired in the loose ball after Mikey's free-kick had come back off the post.

We went on to miss several more good chances and were unable to win the game in regulation time or extra time and the tie went to pens.

Blocks, Mikey, Gunny & Roy all scored their pens and with the shoot-out in Sudden Death, Swifts missed their sixth penalty to send us through to an away tie against JOG.

An improved performance from Tuesday but the amount of chances we're missing is very worrying and something that we need to rectify.

JOG away next and we'll need to improve again for the trip out there as it's never an easy place to go.
