End-of-Season Prizes are handed out

Halkirk United held their annual awards evening in the Ulbster Arms Hotel, Halkirk.

The team had a successful season, winning the Football Times Cup, the Jock Mackay Cup and the Port Services Cup, and were runners-up in the MSIS North Caledonian League and SWl Cup.


Halkirk United players, officials and guests line up behind the three trophies that the team won in 2008/09, plus the two club trophies for player of the year and most promising young player.

HUFC PLayer of the Year, Mark Nichol receives his trophy from Elizabeth MacDonald.

Sandy Sutherland receives the Most Promising Young Player of the year from Nettie Gunn.
