Both Caithness sides have home advantage for North Caley cup-ties on Saturday.

Halkirk United entertain Bonar Bridge while Golspie Sutherland open their defence of the SWL Cup with a trip to Thurso.

United manager Ian MacDonald is wary of a Bonar side which have proved a competitive outfit this term.

The sides had been scheduled to meet on league business last Saturday only for the match to be scrubbed due to a frost-bound Recreation Park.

MacDonald said: "We have not played them this season but they have upset quite a few sides and we'll certainly be taken nothing for granted against them."

The Anglers' early season injury list has just about disappeared though Alan Farquhar and Stuart Florence are unavailable tomorrow.

Kyle Ross could also be missing while Shaun Henderson will be in goals as Jack Mackay is offshore.
