Halkirk United were idle for a second successive week after their game on Saturday was called off.

Freezing overnight temperature made Recreation Park more suited to curling than soccer and put paid to their SWL Cup tie with Bonar Bridge.

The quarter-final tussle has been rescheduled for tomorrow week.

United need to beat bottom side Tain Thistle if they are to keep their title hopes alive.

Manager Ian MacDonald reports a clean bill of health with midfielder Gavin Henderson missing out as he is in Glasgow.

He said: "We would have been seven short last week and are in a much healthier state for tomorrow.  "The problem is that we're lacking sharpness after being out of action for the last two Saturdays.  "You could see that with the boys in training but hopefully they can do the business on Saturday."

The games has a 1.30 p.m. kick-off.
