Injury crisis before Cup match

Halkirk have something of an injury crisis going into Saturday's trip to play Bonar Bridge in the second round of the Jock Mackay Cup.

Central midfielders Graham MacDonald and Gavin Henderson look certain to miss out through back injuries while the same complaint could rule out keeper Shaun Henderson.

With other keeper Jack Mackay back offshore and Michael Bremner (knee) and Chris Sutherland (hamstring) still sidelined, manager Ian MacDonald has no shortage of problems.

Flu victim and skipper Alan Sinclair will be welcomed back to his normal berth at the centre of the defence.
