Facilities

Playden is a purpose-built nursery, refurbished in 2001, with three playrooms, secure kitchen area and a specially designed bathroom.

There are a large amount of resources available to the children including sand, water, arts and crafts, educational toys and games, books and computers.

• All these resources are used to cover the Scottish 3 - 5 Curriculum.
• We also have a variety of gym equipment for physical activities.
• There is a spacious enclosed garden with climbing frame and playhouse.

Security & Safety

Security and safety are a priority so the main door is kept secured at all times therefore no one can enter the building without being identified. Emergency exit doors open on to the garden, and inter-connected smoke detectors are installed in the playrooms and hallway.
