Sandy picks up sweep money

There was an extra medal sweep played on Sunday for those who did not elect to play with the Alliance. Conditions were favourable and birdies were rare however Terry Grace managed a birdie at the par 5 sixth hole and this was matched by George MacDonald and Don Mackay Senior. Don also had a nice birdie two at the 9^th and returned figures of 76-7-69 for a tidy round of par.

Three broke par and in third place was Ian Sutherland with 86-18-68. Bring home the lowest gross score was David Mackay with a neat round of 74 and a card of 74-7-67. With a birdie at the 13^th Sandy Chisholm picked up the sweep money with a very good 78-12-66.
