Stevie Spargo

There was a sense of 'deja vu' about the result as not only did Stevie retain this trophy but did it with exactly the same score as last year. Spargo went round the course with a one under par 68 which featured five birdies, three of them coming at par 3 holes.

Alistair Young was tight on his heels, though and missed out by one shot followed by Reay's, John O'Brien a regular winner in Thurso Open's.
