Old Football duo partners win trophy

The weather was as usual quite unpleasant with a very strong wind reducing the size of the field. Nevertheless there was a trophy to play for and some brave contestants giving it a go. The format being foursomes was very difficult and challenging in the wind.

The youngsters Allyn Sutherland and Hugh Tunn were third with a very brave attempt running up 103-17-86 and gaining great experience. The pairing of Cammie Ross and Alistair Gunn with a lot more experience also found life very tough making 87-8-79 with no birdies but returning a score to pick up second slot.

The winners were Grant Maxwell and Donald Mowat warming up for the Ulbster Cup shooting 83-8-75 with a fine birdie at the 6^th as Grant adds another trophy to his vast haul for the season.
