Summer Cup Halfway Report - 25 June 07
Greigie and Colin lead the way at Halfway point

We are now sitting at the halfway stage in the Summer cup with eight rounds completed and as expected the leaders are all quite closely bunched together.

With only a one shot cushion over the field Stuart Greig is the early pace setter with rounds of 69-70-69-64 for a total 272. Colin Paterson maintains his very consistent scoring with rounds of 69-67-66-71 for 273 to be only one shot adrift in second place. Only one shot further back on a total 274 lurk a dangerous pair in Grant Maxwell and John O’Brien both capable of consistent scoring in the next eight rounds. Gavin Sutherland lies fifth with 279 and is by no means out of it and will surely be challenging to get his hands on the trophy.

Anybody else in the field can rise dramatically and be in contention as there are still eight rounds to go and this marathon is the best eight scores from sixteen rounds.
