In between the rain soaked weekends the rain soaked Summer Cup is still progressing. The weather suggests it should be renamed the Winter League. Tuesday Evenings have been dreadful this year. Round 11 was badly affected by inclement weather.

Most of the field produced a nil return however Grant Maxwell was third with 81-7-74 which included a fine birdie at the 6^th. Gavin Sutherland for the second time produced four birdies and these came back to back at the 5^th and 6^th and again at the 13^th and 14^th. Gavin finished 75-5-70 to be in second place. The man who rose above the weather and shot par figures was Donald Mowat 77-8-69 with a great effort.

Not much has changed in the race for the Summer Cup with Stuart Greig still in pole position with an aggregate of 341 from John O'Brien on 343. Donald Mowat, Colin Paterson, Grant Maxwell and Gavin Sutherland are all a further shot away. Just about everybody can make a late challenge with good rounds over the next 5 weeks.
