Evan wins with a 64

The day before saw Reay members competing for the June medal in similar conditions, with similarly good scoring.

In category one, Evan Sutherland took the honours with a great score of 72 (net 64) off a handicap of 8. Birdies at 3 and 13 backed up with a plethora of pars, was more than the rest of the field could live with.

In second place for the second time over the weekend was Lee Parnell, again edged out on count-back. 3 birdies including one at the tough opening hole helped Lee to a gross 69 (5) 64 and second place.

In a weekend of count-back chaos, Gavin Gunn, Aly MacKay and DC (Mojo) Mowat all posted net 67's. And after a some slick slide-rule shuffling, Gavin was awarded 3rd.

In category two, Tim Hawes took the top spot with two quality nines of 44 to post a total of 88 (23) 65. Tim's more regular appearances on the golf course are obviously playing dividends.

Second place went to Liam Bremner with a handicap equalling net 69 and third place went to Ian Sutherland with a net 70.
