Captain's team lead the way

Sunday's Pentland Open was badly blighted by heavy rainfall with only four teams braving the elements.

Thurso Club Captain Bob Parsonage's team proved to be the winners with Allyn Sutherland their top scorer with a very commendable 36 point total, one better than the Captain whose son Mark brought their total to 96 points to win by eight points from a Wick trio of William and Richard Thain and Michael MacAllan. William won the best score out-with the winning team with 34 points.
