King of the Castle in great style
The Stewart Trophy for those with a handicap of 18 or less was won in great style by Stephen King with a nett 64 from a gross 76 that had 38 shots for both nines featuring birdies at the seventh and last.
Alistair Bell also birdied the seventh, and thirteenth, in the lowest round of the day, a gross 73, for a nett 66 and second place.
Nicky Doherty is having a good season and finished in third place on Saturday, beating Alan Simmonite on count back after both returned nett 67's. Count back also gave Trevor Henderson the rest of the sweep money with a nett 68.
Gordon Bailey and Jack Johnstone were the losers after also having nett 68's.
