No slip ups, this time, for Graham to win round...

There was a two shot margin between the Competition Standard Scratch scores for the latest rounds of Thurso Golf Club's Summer League last week with conditions on Thursday obviously more difficult than the previous day.

Having been victim of a technical slip up a few weeks ago, Ian Graham made no mistake this time and scored 44 points to win the Wednesday session by three points from the hole in one man, Ricky Eunson.

Ronnie Matheson, alone on 40 points, claimed third place with Graeme Henderson needing count back to deny Neil Jackson fourth place after both had 38 points.

Lewis Bain got himself into good shape for the Junior Open by winning on Thursday with 40 points, two clear of Club Handicap champion, Jim Buchan.

Stephen Williamson was third on 37 points with Alan'Skins'Mackenzie, Alan Coghill and Greg McEwan two points further back.
