Gavin strikes well in this round...

Gavin Sutherland had one of his finest rounds at Thurso on Wednesday to amass 42 points for the four handicap player.

After a slowish start to his season Peter O'Hare is putting some good rounds together and finished in second place, only a point behind the winner.

Doug Thorburn, Bryan Suttar, Billy 'WJ' Sutherland, Mark Parsonage and Andrew Main finished in that order after all returned 40 point rounds.

Scoring was almost as impressive the following day when Stephen Lowe won with 42 points, one ahead of Swanson and by two from Roddy Harper.

MacGregor was next best on 39 points with Ron Ritchie and Innes Mitchell a point further back.

There are four rounds of the League still to be played and there will surely be lots more changes before the final rounds at the beginning of September.
