Badminton girls take title

There was an excellent entry from the Wick club in the Teams of Three Open on Saturday but it was a Thurso team that came out on top. Jane Grant, Eileen Manson and Carole Mowat had a superb winning nett 56.

The Wick teams did not go away empty handed though as Val Balfour, Nancy O'Brien and Elsie Oag were runners up and a special prize went to Doreen Cormack, Ella Henderson and Isobel Shearer.
