Irvine and Boyd are count back winners

A couple of weeks earlier Davie Irvine and Iain Boyd were count back winners of the Weigh Inn sponsored Bert Brownlee Open for pairs, beating James Taylor and Terry Mackay in the process, both returning nett 60's.

The young pairing of Graeme Henderson and Stephen Bremner were a further shot back in third place.
