Donald is in the swing for the final few rounds

Saturday's August Medal attracted a good turnout with many players bettering their handicap.

Sandy Stewart's 74(7)67 was the best of several nett 67s to take 5th place.

In 4th place with 82(16)66 was Donald Farquhar. Also on nett 66 was Mick Ross, who took 3rd place.

Runner up, with the best gross score of the day, was newly crowned Club Champion Bryan Ronald. Bryan shot yet another sub par round, 68(3)65.

The winner with a superb 73(9)64 was Donald Sutherland. Donald, who struggled with his game early in the season, has obviously got back in the swing and was a deserved winner.
