Eighteen pairs contested the Pollok Rosebowl on Sunday. This was played to the greensomes format where both players play from the tee but play alternate shots thereafter.

It would appear that this suited the higher handicap pairs as it was won by Terry Mackay and Iain Boyd with an allowance of 17 shots on their way to a nett 61, half a shot in front of Robert McCoustra and Stuart Bell who had an allowance of 22.5 shots.

Stephen Bremner and Graeme Henderson claimed third place on count back over Kevin Morris and Gavin Souter after both pairs returned nett 65's.
