Young Allyn wins by a point

Last year's Freswick winner Keith Dreaves had a poor round on Saturday but put in a real challenge for the Tom Adams Quaich on Sunday with a 38 point effort despite getting no points on the last two holes.

That proved to be his undoing however as Allyn Sutherland followed up a 20 point outward nine with 19 more on the way in to win by a point.

Early starters George Munro and Bob Robertson were third and fourth with 37 and 36 points respectively.
