Mens Tournaments - Season 2010-2011
RNLI Open - 12 September 10
There was more success for the Henderson family on Sunday when Graeme's father Trevor took first place in the RNLI Open with a nett 67. He needed count back to beat Alan Kennedy who also had a nett 67 so his fine inward nine of 37 took care of that.
Kennedy had the consolation of winning the higher handicap section by four shots from Ali Simpson with Alan Coghill a further shot back in third place.
The day's low round of gross 75 belonged to Stephen Spargo and it contained birdies at the second, eighth, fourteenth and seventeenth hole.
Pat Valentine continued a run of good form to claim first place in the lower handicap category with a nett 68.
Regular visitor from the Reay Club, Murray McGlasson, beat Harvey Cowe into second place after both returned nett 69's.
