Munro's second win in three days came in the Rugby Club Cup on Saturday with the help of Bob Robertson.

They had five nett birdies on the way to an outward total of 30 points and added 32 more for a nett 62 to win by a shot from Jason Simpson and Malcolm Morrison.

Simpson and Morrison were only one under par on the way out but fairly stormed home in nett 29 to earn second place.

Count back was required to settle third place and it went to Alf Williamson and Jack Johnstone who had equal nines of 32 for their nett 64.

Alan 'Skins' Mackenzie and Davie Irvine did it differently with a spectacular outward nine of 29 followed by a one over par inward 35, with a double bogey at the seventeenth proving to be very costly.
