Jamie reaches League 1 - Season 2007-2008 - 01/09/07

Beginning in the bottom league, Jamie Henderson (14 years of age) showed he was committed to his journey, put in the extra time and effort managing to ascend to the high heights of League 1, within the Thurso Squash Club league structure.  He accumulated enough points each month in a very short period of time to reach the peak and finally, also achieving the accolade of placing his name in the club's record books as the youngest League participant to enter and play in League one.

After a brief discussion with modest and retiring, Jamie, he quietly mentioned that his next goal was to lift the Thurso Club and County Championships by the time he reached his 18th birthday. A task which looks fully achievable going on current form, leaving the current holder and other potential title seekers quaking in their boots.
