Juniors - Season 2007-2008

It's the end of a busy first tournament season for these enthusiastic junior squash players, who have travelled the length and breadth of Scotland to compete in the Scottish Squash tournament circuit over the winter season. Some individuals have clocked up to 7,000 miles travelling to and from tournaments. Between them they have achieved more than 120 match wins.

Gary, Kobe, Fergus, Jamie and Stephanie represented the Highlands & Islands at the National Squash Centre, Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh and all contributed well with their teams finishing in 3rd place (under 13's) and 2nd place (under15's) overall.

Jamie Henderson (14) from Thurso reached the semi-finals in the under 15's at the Scottish National Championships held in Aberdeen. Gary (12) and Liam (11) Beales from Wick reached the quarter finals in the under 13's and John Georgeson from Latheron also made it to the quarter finals in the under 19's.

Most of these players are now ranked in the top 10 in Scotland in their respective age groups (Jamie and Gary in the top 4).

They have all made their mark on the Scottish Squash circuit and with a summer of dedicated training the boys will be out to impress the selectors next season.
