Scottish Squash Coach visits County - Season 2008-2009 - 20, 21 & 22/03/09

Thurso and Wick Squash Club's brought one of the top Scottish Squash coaches, Mark Beaumont to their clubs for a weekend of instruction.
Young and old, starter and experienced (fairly) enjoyed a new style of coaching with some fresh ideas and concepts being brought into their training routines.
Overall, the general feeling was encouraging and all players looked forward to continuing their squash activities to boost and improve their game.
A delighted club player commented, 'I've tried one of the new techniques from coaching in a friendly... ...and it works.....!!!!!' As Yazz once said, '...the only way is up, baby......'. Can't get better than that.
Mark was also fortunate to view some of the Caithness v Orkney Inter-County matches on his visit. Unfortunately or; maybe not, he was persuaded into refereeing the top match between Andrew Bremner and Adam Stanger that went to the final point with an Adam win.
Thanks for your time and effort, hope you enjoyed visiting the area and look forward to further coaching sessions.
