Ginger Bread Cake for Big Bird - Season 2008-2009 - March 2009

Och, not really a lot to say about this one but worth a mention.
You would never believe who went out of his way to bake a Ginger Cake for Big Bird, in his time of recuperation from a bad injury...???
This person, who will be called 'Cakes' faked a knee ligament injury to miss his football teams' last winter league game - especially, to perform this act of generosity.
Everbody knew he wasn't injured, as the poem/song mentions below, he was 'running through the toon...' looking for baking trays and paraphernalia to complete his task.
On presentation, 'Cakes' and Big Bird both munched away on the delicious treat and enjoyed every bit with delight.
After a quick word with his wife or, as she will be known 'Cakette', they were really proud of what he produced and with these new skills there will be no need to visit the local Bakers, anymore...???
Before reading the fittingly appropriate poem/song below, get the 'Muffin' Man' tune in your head and read on. It'll come out better.....
The Gingerbread Man goes through the town,
Through the town, through the town.
The Gingerbread Man goes through the town,
Singing, "Catch me if you can!"
Oh, do you know the Gingerbread Man,
The Gingerbread Man, the Gingerbread Man?
Oh, do you know the Gingerbread Man,
Who ran and ran and ran?
He said, 'Catch me if you can,
If you can, if you can.'
He said, 'Catch me if you can,
Then ran and ran and ran.
I can run like the Gingerbread Man.
The Gingerbread Man, the Gingerbread Man.
I can run like the Gingerbread Man.
Now catch me if you can.
Catch ye.......
